What this site is
North Shore Bathroom Renovations connects homeowners on Sydney's North Shore with independent renovation contractors who work in their area. You send through the details of your bathroom, we arrange a measure, and you get a written quote from the contractor who would actually carry out the work.
We are not the builder. The quote is theirs, the contract is with them, and the licence and insurance are theirs. That is worth stating plainly because plenty of sites in this industry are structured exactly the same way and are much less direct about it.
Why we only do wet areas
Bathrooms, ensuites, powder rooms and laundries are their own discipline. They are small rooms that concentrate four trades, a waterproof membrane, a fall to a floor waste and a set of finishes that get judged at close range in good light. A builder who mostly does extensions can absolutely do a bathroom — but the failure modes here are specific, and they are almost all invisible until they are expensive.
So the scope on this site stays narrow. If you need a kitchen, a second storey or a whole-of-house renovation, we are the wrong first call.
What we ask of the contractors we work with
We ask every contractor we refer work to that they hold the NSW licences and the insurance the job requires, and that plumbing and electrical work is carried out by separately licensed trades. We ask that quotes are written, itemised and name the fittings rather than describing them.
What we cannot do is verify any of that on your behalf, on an ongoing basis, for every job. So the honest instruction is the boring one: ask to see the certificates before work starts, and check the licence number against the NSW Fair Trading register. It takes two minutes and it is the single most useful thing a homeowner can do.
What we will not tell you
We will not tell you we are licensed, insured, award-winning, or that we have been doing this for twenty years. We will not show you reviews we did not receive or testimonials we wrote ourselves. If a claim is not something we can stand behind, it does not go on the site.
Ready to start? Call 02 4602 1201, or send through the details and we will arrange a measure. If you want the numbers first, the cost page sets out the 2026 bands.
